This role is to assist in the Private Client department. The role will involve being the first port of call for the
busy Solicitor, in the department, and assist with the smooth running of their case load, client diary management
and general administrative and office tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role will include but is not limited to:
- General administration tasks such as opening new client files, sending out client care letters, filing, photo
copying and management of your appointment diary.
- Communicating with clients and third parties by telephone, email, and letter.
- Dealing with all types of Private Client work: Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work,
Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning.
- Dealing with enquiries received and researching where necessary to supply responses, liaising with third parties
including clients.
- Keeping up to date with training and relevant changes in law.
Office:
All our staff are expected to assist with the maintenance of running a small but busy office.

- Keeping your working environment tidy and organised and ensuring all filing is completed promptly so that people
always know where things are.
- Having a good working knowledge of office procedures generally.
- Being polite and courteous to clients, staff and all other visitors at all times.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be someone who:
- Is willing to learn on the job and advance their skill set.
- Has some experience working in a law firm or legal background is preferred.
- Has excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
- Has good manners with clients particularly on the telephone.
- Presents themselves in a professional manner and looks attired at all times.
