Solicitor Mike Dyer, joined Jasper Vincent in January 2023 as Head of its Family Department and to accompany the firm’s other departments dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing, litigation and corporate work. Mike is based at the firm’s Segensworth office but will travel where necessary to see clients at our Southampton and Waterside offices.

Mike was formerly a Partner and Head of Family Law in a large Southampton firm based in Hedge End and has 40 years of experience in divorce, property and financial dispute, preservation of assets, children’s issues, domestic violence and pre and post nuptial agreements. He is a long-time member of Resolution, an accredited specialist in advocacy and financial remedy, a collaborative lawyer and family mediator. He believes in a proactive approach to resolving family disputes, seeking dialogue and negotiation at first in round table meetings where appropriate. When necessary, Mike pursues court proceedings strenuously to achieve the best outcome for his clients placing the interests of children at the forefront of discussions. If family mediation is more appropriate for clients, Mike can also arrange this for you.

Mike is married with two daughters and one grandson. He enjoys golf, equestrianism and foreign travel.
