The Primary purpose of this position is to help ensure the smooth running of the office and communicate professionally and effectively with clients, third parties and other staff particularly on the telephone. This position is an important role in the level of client care we offer.
Answering the telephone and the door in a polite and professional manner and dealing with requests where possible,
taking accurate messages and passing them on as soon as possible.
Making up new client files, drafting client care letters and terms of business, ensuring compliance with SRA codes as
well as CQS, dealing with clients, brokers and referrals over the telephone and in person.
Familiarity with conveyancing terminology, Land Registry Portal, SDLT online, search providers and mapping, indemnity
insurance providers, etc.
Keeping your work environment tidy and organised and ensuring all filing is completed promptly.
Having a good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and office procedures generally.
Assisting with photocopying, filing, shredding, archiving and other administrative tasks. Working as an integral part of
the conveyancing team as well as assisting generally within a busy office.
Closing and archiving client files.
